Padbolts

To hold doors, gates and other access points in a closed position, place a padbolt. This is a basic security measure consisting of a keeper and sliding bolt. Keep note that when installing the padbolt, the keeper must be attached to the door frame while the bolt assembly is to the door itself. The length of the bolt is a very important detail to take notice of because if the bolt is too short, it would not be able to keep the gate closed.
